Floyd's Auto Glass covers four kinds of job: full windshield replacement, rock chip repair, the mobile visit that gets us to your vehicle in the first place, and glass for work trucks and heavy commercial rigs alongside ordinary cars. Below is what each one actually involves, not a price list, since Floyd's doesn't publish prices for work that depends on the vehicle and the glass.

Windshield replacement

Windshield replacement is the job Floyd's does most, and it's the one every review describes. The bonded glass comes out, the frame gets cleaned back to bare metal, and a new windshield goes in wherever the vehicle is already parked, whether that's a driveway, a work yard or a customer's own lot. One customer described the whole visit as thirty minutes or less; others got a same-day or next-morning appointment after calling for a price. Cars, SUVs and pickups are the shape of the job most days.

What mobile actually means for you.

There's a street address in Byron on file, but Floyd's doesn't run a walk-in shop or a waiting room. We come to wherever your vehicle already is, a driveway, a work yard, a parking lot at your job, anywhere in Byron and Middle Georgia. You don't drop the vehicle off and you don't need a loan car for the day.

What we ask for in return is small: a way to reach the vehicle when we arrive, and somewhere reasonably level to work, the same as you'd want for changing a tire. Beyond that, plan around the adhesive rather than the fitting itself. The glass goes in quickly; it's the cure time afterward that decides how soon you can drive it, and we'll tell you that number on the day, for your specific vehicle and glass.
